In September, Brussels was transformed into the epicenter of the global business community. It hosted Odoo Experience 2025—an event rightfully called the heart of the Odoo ecosystem. This year, it gathered a record-breaking 40,000+ attendees from around the world and featured over 400 talks, workshops, and panel discussions.
For the Codoo ERP team, this event was special. It wasn't just about gaining new knowledge, but about the feeling of belonging to a global community, exchanging experiences, meeting industry leaders, and gathering an inspiration that cannot be described in mere numbers.
An Atmosphere That Energizes
As soon as you step into the Brussels Expo, where the conference was held, you immediately grasp the scale of it. This isn't just an exhibition or an industry meeting. It's an environment that brings together startups, international corporations, integrators, consultants, and thousands of businesses that already use or are planning to implement Odoo.
The atmosphere feels like a massive business hub. People share ideas, search for solutions, ask questions, and get answers on the spot. For our team, this confirmed that we are moving in the right direction.
A special moment was meeting the founder of Odoo, Fabien Pinckaers. His story is impressive: in 2005, he created his first product called TinyERP, which later evolved into OpenERP, and since 2014, the whole world has known it as Odoo. Today, the company is valued at over €5 billion, and its solutions are used by millions of businesses worldwide.
Shaking hands with the man behind this transformation was both an honor and an inspiration for us. Odoo's example shows how an idea can grow into a global ecosystem that changes business processes on a planetary scale.
New Connections and Partnerships
Conferences of this magnitude are always about more than just presentations and technological novelties. They are about people and the partnerships that are born through communication.
For Codoo ERP, Odoo Experience 2025 was an excellent opportunity to expand our network:
- We met the official Odoo partner in Ukraine, Solvve Odoo Consulting.
- We raised a glass with the Vice President of the OCA (Odoo Community Association)—an international association that develops open-source solutions and unites the global Odoo community.
- We exchanged experiences with the 4sights team, an integrator with a powerful portfolio of ERP projects.
- We had a valuable conversation with the CEO of SelfERP, the largest Odoo company in Ukraine.
Such connections are particularly important because they pave the way for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint projects in the future. The event's atmosphere fosters healthy competition, where the main priority is the development of the ecosystem as a whole.
Odoo 19: The Main Innovations
Undoubtedly, the main highlight of the conference was the official launch of the new version—Odoo 19. It's hard to single out just one thing, as the updates touched almost every module. But if there was one common theme, it was artificial intelligence.
AI is now integrated into the system at all levels:
- Content creation,
- Automatic data population,
- Forecasting and suggestions,
- Smart agents that simplify user processes.
In addition to AI, countless practical innovations were presented to address the daily "pain points" of businesses:
- In Sales, you can now instantly check stock levels directly within a sales quote.
- The POS module now includes ready-made scenarios for takeaway and even a dark mode.
- Inventory introduces min-max rules: the system automatically generates purchase orders when stock is low; barcode scanner support is also now included.
- E-commerce adds AI content generation, SEO checks, and integration with the Shopee platform for the APAC market.
- Accounting implements localized e-invoices for various countries and a corporate Odoo Mastercard with expense control and limits.
The new ESG module for tracking compliance with sustainable development standards deserves special attention. In a world where transparency and responsibility are becoming key for businesses, this solution can offer a real competitive advantage.
A Look into the Future
After three days in Brussels, we return not just with photos and new contacts. We bring back ideas that can be implemented today and the understanding that we are part of a community that is changing business.
Odoo Experience 2025 proved once again: automation is not a future trend but a present reality. Businesses worldwide are looking for ways to work more efficiently, reduce costs, and scale. And Odoo offers the very tools that make this possible.
For Codoo ERP, this event was a confirmation that we are on the right path. Our mission is to help businesses in Ukraine and beyond implement these innovations so they can compete on a global level.
Conclusion
Odoo Experience 2025 is not just a conference. It's a space where the future of business is shaped. It's an event that inspires, provides new knowledge and connections, and confirms that when you are in the right community, any ambitious goal becomes achievable.
Codoo ERP is proud to have been a part of this massive event. And we are confident that there are even more solutions ahead that will help businesses grow, develop, and become stronger.
